Privacy Policy

Old Village Tycoon · Last updated: 6 August 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how the mobile game Old Village Tycoon (the “App”, “we”, “us”) handles information when you play. By installing and using the App you agree to the practices described below.

Short version: the App is a single-player farming game. We do not ask for your name, phone number, or address, we do not sell data, and we do not show third-party advertising. Almost everything you do stays on your device.

1. Information stored on your device

Your game progress is saved locally on your device and never leaves it unless you use an online feature described in section 2. This local data includes:

Deleting the App removes this data from your device.

2. Information we receive

Leaderboard and achievements. If you submit a score to the online leaderboard, we store the nickname you entered, your score, and the time of submission on our hosting provider (Google Firebase). Please do not use your real name or any personal detail as your nickname — it is visible to other players.

Analytics. The App uses Google Firebase Analytics to understand how the game is used in aggregate — for example how many players finish the tutorial or which screens are opened. These reports contain technical and statistical data such as device model, operating system version, language, country, app version, and randomly generated identifiers assigned by the analytics service. They do not contain your name, email address, or contact details, and we do not attempt to identify individual players from them.

Technical connection data. When the App loads online content, our provider’s servers automatically process standard connection data (IP address, request time, device and OS type) for security and reliability purposes.

3. Why we process this information

4. What we do not do

5. Service providers

We rely on Google Firebase (Google LLC / Google Ireland Ltd.) for hosting the leaderboard database and for analytics. Data may be processed on servers located outside your country, including in the United States, under Google’s own terms and safeguards. You can read Google’s privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy.

6. How long we keep data

Leaderboard entries are kept while the leaderboard feature exists or until you ask us to remove your entry. Aggregate analytics data is retained according to the default retention period of the analytics service. Local game data stays on your device until you delete it or uninstall the App.

7. Children

The App is a casual game suitable for a general audience, but it is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has submitted personal information through a nickname or otherwise, contact us and we will delete it.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete information relating to you, to object to or restrict its processing, and to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. Because we do not maintain accounts, the practical way to exercise these rights is to write to us with the nickname you used, and to delete the App to remove local data. We respond to requests within 30 days.

9. Security

Data transmitted by the App travels over encrypted HTTPS connections, and online data is stored on managed infrastructure with access restricted to us. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the game evolves. The “Last updated” date at the top always reflects the current version, and material changes will be announced inside the App.
